Jim O’Leary has been performing since the age of ten. 48 years non-stop around local clubs, bars and private events including birthday parties and weddings.
Jim has been a guitarist and vocalist all his life and can put his hand to mandolin and banjo, which adds variety. Jim was a professional musician in the eighties travelling mainly around the UK and Europe.
Jim’s main influences are Hank Marvin, Gary Moore, Albert Lee, The Beatles, and Garth Brooks. These influences highlight Jim’s skill at playing all types of guitar styles with strong vocals and audience engagement.
Jim has a talent for reading the audience and providing a free-flowing professional performance, which can range from just listening & chatting, to a dance hall that requires steady sets of dancing to make the audience night flow.
